Food Trucks

1. Cart for a Cause, 2. Menu for the day, 3. Black cod w/butter lettuce and sushi roll, 4. Food trucks, 5. Fruit stand, 6. A piece of history- Berlin wall, 7. Hot pink flags

Food trucks originally came about to service construction workers, but now they're everywhere and during lunch time you can find up to 5-6 food trucks lined up on miracle mile. You can try Mediterranean, Japanese, fusion, Korean, bbq, dessert, burgers, grilled cheese, tacos, all along mid-Wilshire. Yesterday, my friend Jamie and I went to check out Cart for a Cause, a philanthropic food truck where 100% of net proceeds go directly to feed the needy- how awesome is that? That day, Nobu teamed up with Cart for a cause and offered several meal options, which you can see in the picture above. We all opted for the black cod lettuce wrap with a 6 piece sushi roll. Along with the meal, we got a free cookie, a bag of nuts and a drink, to go with the meal. I didn't realize that drinks were included, so I didn't get my pom drink =(, oh well.
