Galaxy Scarf

Over 3 months ago I saw this beautiful scarf at Zara. Looking at the price tag I decided not to go home with it...I wanted to sleep on it before I made the purchase. The next day I woke up wanting and needing to have that scarf. It was beautiful and unique, I loved it. I went back to the store to purchase it and it was GONE. I asked the sales associate if she could check in the back to see if they had some in stock. She came back and said that they're all sold out, but would call me if they got more in. I couldn't wait for that phone call, I just kept on going back week after week until finally I gave up. By now I have completely (well, not completely), but I pretty much forgot about the scarf and wasn't expected to see it when I saw THREE hanging there nonchalantly. I bought all three! One, I bought for myself, and the other two I plan to give out as Christmas gifts. I have two ladies in mind that may love this scarf just as much as me.

Ondal 2

Ondal 2 is a hidden gem in midcity Los Angeles. It's hard to find because the sign isn't too visible and it's located in an unsuspected place. Why is Ondal 2 better than Ondal 1? I don't know, I've never been to Ondal 1, but people who have tried both locations tend to prefer the second one. For about $70 you could feed a family of four and have everyone more than satisfyingly full. With one spicy soup base you get about 4 meals out of it. First course starts with crab in the soup base. Second course would be rice mixed in the crab shell mixed with all the inside stuff. Third course is soojaebee (thinly ripped dough placed into the broth) and finally my favorite...kimchi fried rice using the leftover crab, broth, and vegetables.

pizza night

It was pizza night on Sunday. Tim did such a great job making the pizzas all by himself. I couldn't help him because I was busy studying for that annoying neurology exam.

what to do if you have a neurology test coming up?

GO TO UNIVERSAL STUDIOS

That's precisely what I did. I really couldn't flake out on Universal Studios because my friend got us passes (worth  $74 each) and we rescheduled this event just about 2-3 times. The neurology exam wasn't going to stop me from experiencing the new King Kong ride. Well, I'm glad I went because we had a lot of fun, despite me getting motion sickness from the Simpson ride. I haven't been there in a long long time. Probably the last time I went there was in elementary school. What's up with me craving all the park theme fattening snacks that day? I wanted to eat everything, churros, funnel cake, hot dog, pizza and the list goes on. I managed to share a churro and a wetzel pretzel- it was good.
